It’s really wonderful to see Cat Cafés in different cities. That’s why we  try visit if we ever know that there’s one in a city we are in. Call us crazy cat people, but Milan has already named a café for all like-minded, feline-loving hoomans!

Location

Milan’s Crazy Cat Café is just 4 minutes away from the train station Milano Republica, 3 stops from the Duomo station. It’s about 6 minutes away from the Centrale station. Relatively, very much in the city center. Busy Milan tends to be overwhelming with the crowd doing about visiting the many known tourists spots. So if you would want to try the italian coffee culture and have some furry cuddles, go and drop by and be ready to be called crazy.

On the Menu

On regular days, the café serves the usual desserts as NY cheese cake, Lemon tarte, brownies, and cookies for those with sweet tooth. There’s quiche for those who leans more to the other side of the sugary sphere. These can be washed down with selections of coffee, tea, and chocolate drinks served in cat cups. Lunch would be for weekdays as well.

Weekends are different, as you can have a brunch of yummy, homemade dishes. These come in sets which could range from avocado toasts to veggie curry, from mueslis and yogurt to quinoa bowls, there would be so much to choose from. If these are too much for you, you can go for chips, pica-pica, and beer. ^_^

Cats

Understandably, one won’t be able to see all cat residents on a one-time visit. Cats sleep 16 hours at most, so when you come by, there might be a few to play with or none at all. As the café owners, cats shouldn’t be disturbed when asleep.

According to other visitors, there are 9 cat residents, 4 more than Vienna’s Neko Café, but we were only able to see 4 or 5. Some were actively playing and interacting with guests, others were, of course, asleep. Per their website, the 9 cats are named Elton, Bowie, Freddie, Jimmy, Joey, Patti, Mina, Elvis, and Blondie. Obviously, whoever named them are music lovers! 😉
